We, Japanese, like to see firefly flying at early summer evening and take it as one of biological indicators.
　In the old days, before 1940, a lot of fireflies inhabited in Moriyama, but they once died away because of environmental pollution.
　Lately they come back a little and increase year by year.
　Let’s try further activities to clean our rivers hoping to see much more firefly.
